My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jewel is a very sweet 8 months old super friendly puppy. She loves meeting new humans and will want to cuddle with them. She loves going on car rides with her sister Juniper. Any thing that she can chew on will work for her.

Now that her sister Juniper went to her forever home, we are looking to find the best match for sweet Jewel so that she too can settle down and find forever love.

Jewel will need a home with a second dog, as she has always lived in a pack.
She is very intelligent, extremely loyal and super loving. She loves playing with her foster siblings.

Jewel has a great memory and walks well on leash.
She is very good with children (her foster dad has a 6-year-old son). She also lives with 3 cats and doesn’t bother them.

Jewel is potty-trained and is really comfortable in her crate. She will bark inside of her crate ONLY when she needs to go potty. When outside her crate, she will tell her foster dad that she needs to potty by leading him towards the back door to go out.

She is very sweet, calm, and quite low energy for a puppy. Jewel loves doing the zoomies but will take frequent breaks (will sunbathe with her sister Juniper). She is an avid napper and will act as couch potato throughout the day.

She knows commands such as “sit”, “treat”, “stop”, “come”, and “kennel.” \

Jewel is currently around 30 lbs and will weigh around 35-40 lb as an adult. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is also kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.

Jewel, and her 3 other sisters (Jolly, Jade, and Juniper) were abandoned in a truck yard at 3 months of age. A nice lady fed them almost every day for 3 months until finally, rescuers were able to place them in foster homes.

Jewel is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. Adoption fee includes transport fee.
