Oliver is a gentle and sensitive spirit. He has a vibrant personality and hilarious expressions.

Though Oliver’s leash skills are a work in progress, this boy learns fast! Within 48 hours he figured out that he needs to sit on his bed to receive a treat before bedtime! In only one week, he understood basic commands, though “move over” might prove an ongoing challenge 🙃.

Oliver is a fantastic cuddler! He loves playing tug-of-war and fetch with his foster dad. But he also likes his own space, to chew on his nylabone, play with his stuffed gorilla, or just to snooze. While Oliver is food motivated, he is equally motivated by praise. He has a medium-low energy level and displays a perfect blend of calm and silly; and understanding when each action is most fitting.

Oliver is fully housebroken, he sleeps through the night, and has been left home alone with his foster brother for about 7 hours without issue. Oliver just wants to love and be loved. I can’t imagine any dog making a better, more loyal companion. Oliver is neutered, up to date on his shots, and healthy. He weighs about 50 pounds and is 6-7 years old.
