My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Dennis, lovingly nicknamed "the menace" due to my goofy nature. I'm ready to tell you a little bit about myself. My walker has described me as having high energy, which means I'm always up for a good time! The more I've been in the shelter the more I've settled into my routine and have gone to more of a medium energy, especially when that first bit of excitement is done and over with. While I'm a shy guy in my kennel, out of it I'm playful, sweet, and am all about being social! I love treats an they are the best way to get me to focus when I get a little distracted.

Speaking of being distracted, I absolutely love meeting new canine friends and can't wait to say hello. I tend to be pretty passive and let the other dogs take the lead when I first meet them, and if they are up for a good play session I'm all in!Oh, and did I mention I have a thing for sticks? There's just something about them that I find irresistible - they're the perfect toy for a pup like me.

Overall, I'm just a happy-go-lucky boy looking for a family to call my own. If you're looking for a furry friend who's full of energy and always up for an adventure, then look no further - I'm Dennis, and I can't wait to become your loyal companion. Let's make some memories together - I promise, you won't regret it!
