Carter came to us as a stray needing a place to land and how grateful we are that we were able to accept him into our rescue-to-adopt program. After a few weeks of good nutrition, lots of love, learning to play with others, and just being allowed to be a kitten without having to worry about the cold nights and a healthy meal, Carter has flourished. He is just the sweetest boy!

Carter gets along fabulously with other cats and plays nicely - no battles for who's top kitty with Carter - he just rolls with it! He is fun and rambunctious as most kittens are, and should be. He is a perfect patient for grooming and nail trims. We haven't had a chance to introduce him to dogs but we suspect he will do just fine with proper introductions as his personality is similar to others we've had that have been great with dogs. (i.e. easy going, adapt quickly to changes in environment, aren't bothered by newcomers to their kitty pack, etc.).

Ideally we would love to see Carter go into a home with another kitten - either another of ours available for adoption, or an existing and accepting kitty that's already in the home being loved and looking for a companion. Let's be honest, two is always better than one! :)
