Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Clint, the dog with the permanent wink! This happy four-year-old is currently chilling with his foster family after the stress of shelter living started getting to him. Now he's got his happy face back and he's ready to find a home of his own. Bonus: His adoption fee has been sponsored, so his new family will take him home for free.
Clint would like to live in an adult-only home - kids 18+ are fine - where he doesn't have to share the spotlight with any other pets. In return for all your love, he promises to give you all of his - and he has lots of love to give. He's very accommodating, up for whatever you want to do: a walk or a cuddle, not to mention a play session, indoors or out.
Speaking of playing, Clint loves everything from Nylabones to paper towel tubes. He's a big fan of tearing up stuffies, so much so that you may need to trade something yummy for the remains.
Clint's very favorite thing gets its own paragraph: sunbathing. He could hang out in the sun forever, so if you have a fenced yard where he can sunbathe and you can choose sun or shade, he already loves you and you haven't even met yet.
Clint has some of the cutest quirks we've ever seen. He literally bunny-hops when he gets excited. Do you like a dog who likes having his face smooshed? Clint wants you to know he's your guy. And when he's outside he gets the zoomies when it's time to "go." Speaking of "going," he's a great communicator. He tells his foster mom when he needs to go out, when he's hungry, and of course when he's looking for some snuggly love. He loves sticking to a schedule, so if you need to follow a schedule yourself because of work commitments or anything else, he'll easily get in synch with you.
One thing to know about Clint is that he's really not a fan of other dogs, so when he's out walking or going somewhere like the vet, he wears a muzzle as a sign for other people to keep their dogs at a distance. He's completely comfortable wearing his muzzle, so just think of it the way he does: as another piece of his on-the-go gear, along with his collar and leash.
What better way to end than with his foster mom's own words when asked what she wants the world to know about this Very Good Boy: "He can come across as a lot at first, but he really is a sweet, calm, smart, funny dog! Love him to death :)"
If you'd like to meet sweet Clint, contact his in-shelter contact Alivia at amartin@lollypop.org. She'll get in touch with his foster mom and set up an appointment for Clint to meet the whole family. After that...well, we and Clint are crossing our fingers (and paws) that the next step will be for him to head home with you.

More about this shelter
Mission:
Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, works together with our community better the lives of animals through justice, prevention, and life-saving care.
Vision: A just and compassionate world for all animals.
Lollypop Farm is not your typical animal welfare organization. We don’t classify ourselves as merely a shelter, simply taking in and rehoming pets. Rather, we are your partner. We’ll work with you to build a just and compassionate world for all animals–to save animals from abuse and suffering, to find a resource to keep your pet, to guide you in adopting a new pet, to make the tough decision to say goodbye to your family friend or to share information on how to help animals in your daily life.
