My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This attractive boy is Wyatt, picked up by one of our officers as a stray and taken to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/27. My Dog Scanner app suggests a terrier mix with some Boxer thrown in for good measure. Wyatt weighs 80 pounds, is about 2 years of age and is neutered. For much of the photo shoot, he was preoccupied with exploring the yard, and I had a difficult time convincing him to look up in my camera and show his handsome face! He is a playful fellow, friendly, and with a pleasant personality. He was happy for me to pet him. And it was discovered that he will roll over for belly rubs and loves it! Especially when you find the "sweet spot." He has a somewhat chill nature although he is an active and alert boy. He walks OK on leash, but does have a bit of a strong pull! He pottied outside, so is possibly house trained. He seems to not know any commands but did want the yummy Pupperoni treats I was offering and took them quite nicely. Wyatt would make some person or family a wonderful and devoted companion. Can you find it in your heart to assist this terrific dog out of the shelter, and on the way to his new forever home?
