My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 3PM 03/03/24
Name: Frosty Paws
Animal ID: A827956
Age: 2 years
Weight: ~52 lbs.
About: Frosty Paws is currently on a bite quarantine until the end of day 02/28/24. Once he is cleared from quarantine on 02/29/24 he will be evaluated and moved onto the adoption floor and will start a 3-day Emergency Placement Deadline for behavior. He will be available to have meet and greets on 02/29/24. He is available for foster or adoption through PACC.

Frosty Paws is a smooshy faced, handsome young man who is looking for his forever home with someone who is patient in giving him time to adjust to new people and his new environment. This is Frosty Paws second time in the shelter, both times he has been very overwhelmed when he first arrives and takes a bit of love and patience, to allow him to adjust and get to know his handlers. Then his loving personality comes right out!

The last time Frosty Paws was at PACC and was introduced to other dogs in a playgroup setting, he was not only nervous with the handlers but also with the dogs. He kept to himself and tried to jump out of the yard. After Frosty Paws is released from his quarantine, he will be evaluated again with other dogs in a playgroup to see if his behavior towards dogs has changed. He will need to meet any other dogs that he will be living with to make sure it is a good fit. He will also need to meet any people that he will be living with.
