My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Pittsburgh, named after my mommy's favorite NFL team. I enjoy family time and family fun play indoors and outdoors. I love lots and lots of hugs and face rubs. I love my squishmellow toy. I enjoy looking over our deck and smelling the fresh air. Sometimes when I'm overly energized, I run laps of zoomies in the backyard or dig holes. It's not often, just when Mommy's been gone too long at work. Sometimes my cat siblings get on my nerves when they are horse playing too loud at night. I fuss at them by growling or barking, but for the most part, I love their company. I love treats and soft foods. I love trying new foods and treats as well. I enjoy being around family where all the action is. As much as I love table food, I've learned that not all table foods are my friend. I love attention!!!!!
I am potty and crate trained, love children, cats, and dogs, and am the best boy! Will you make me part of your family?

Pittsburgh is part of our Ambassador's Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home. If an animal is abandoned or needs to be re-homed, we can assist people by providing medical care, marketing and training if the individual fosters the animal.

Please contact us at adoption@pawmettolifeline.org if you would like to meet an Ambassador Animal.

More about this rescue

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
