My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Cannoli's adoption is sponsored -  her adoption fee is $0.00 for an approved applicant!*

Cannoli is a sweet girl who will be 2 in December 2024.  She is looking for a family to give her a chance to thrive - in return she'll give you all her love and trust! Cannoli is a little shy around new people but is also silly and playful once she warms up! She is a tall, lean, beautiful young lady around 80 pounds who has quite a bit of energy as she's still a pup at heart.  She likes walks and will play fetch but seems equally happy chilling out and getting her tummy rubbed.  She knows basic commands - come, sit, down, shake, stay. She is pretty ladylike on a leash (sometimes she needs a little time to decompress with her excitement). She is very smart, eager to please and has great manners, she listens very well to cues, and any other training for her will be a breeze as she is willing to do ANYTHING for food! (Who doesn't love a girl who loves food?!)  This sweet young lady will do best in a house with no other pets as she's picky about which dogs she likes and has a prey drive towards cats.  She does great with distant walks with other dogs, or with any kind of barrier. She would make a great watch dog who will let you know when someone or something is around!  She seems like she is a dog who will always have that puppy dog face. So beautiful, yet mature!

If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application.  Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together!

All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts.  Please visit our website for additional information.
