Meet Britta, a very friendly and sweet 18 months old 40-45 lbs girl with stunning spotted markings. Britta is a Looker and she steals everyone’s hearts at first sight with her overly friendly demeanor. Sadly she was abandoned by her owner at a Highest kill Apple Valley shelter when we came to her rescue 5 min before she was being euthanized for space. She was then quarantined for a month awaiting her survival fate since the shelter had a Distemper outbreak at the time infecting 1000s of dogs. Luckily she was previously vaccinated and dodged the deadly virus. But it was not the end of her troubles.. She had a spay surgery that was followed by 2 more surgeries thereafter she had to endure. You can say she is a fighter and she successfully overcome all the hurdle. She is now happy, healthy and ready to put the past behind to start a new chapter in her life with a new forever family who will love her as we do since she has easily become a favorite.
Britta is very much an indoor dog and is sensitive to extreme weather. She wouldn’t do well in a cold climate as well as super hot locations.
She looks like a pointer with short spotted fur and the vet thought she had some bulldog breed in her. She is very friendly to all dogs, big and small. She doesn’t require a large place to run, she would be happy with a small yard where she can lounge and do a few laps. She prefers to be indoors. Britta is crate trained, no separation anxiety and is very quiet.
Vaccinated, microchipped, spayed. An overall affectionate and loving dog.
