Foster or forever home needed!

Shenzi is just the prettiest little thing; she was named after one of the hyenas in the Lion King but she is not mischievous like those little characters. She is approximately 8 months old and weighs about 35 lbs. She is a heeler mix so she will likely have typical herder tendencies.

Shenzi was rescued by our southern partners after being thrown from a truck. Thank goodness she is in a home and learning that people can be good. She loves other dogs and is crate-trained and housetrained. Shenzi is super sweet with everyone! She is loving life with her southern foster family and is so so sweet and gentle. Shenzi even lets her foster mom trim her nails.

She likes to play with another dog at a time, but gets overwhelmed if there are many dogs such as a doggy daycare situation.

Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
