My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper is a 6-year-old Chihuahua/Corgi mix, he weighs about 20 lbs. He was found wandering the streets in Los Angeles, the Shelter that picked him up thinks he was abandoned by his previous owners.
He gets along OK with other dogs but is fine being the only dog in the household. He will sometimes bark at other dogs on his walks, but we think he just wants to meet them. He’s a big cuddler, loves toys, bully sticks and loves belly rubs, he’s always flipping over on his back hoping for a belly rub. He waits to be invited onto the couch and will come up and want to cuddle.
He is best suited in a household with no children.
He’s very friendly, sweet and affectionate. He does pull on leash so we’re working on that. He knows how to sit and is treat motivated. Cooper is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. If you are interested in him, please complete the application on our website: www.adoptmerescue.org.

Their adoption process

1.
Meet the Pet

Come to our adoption event and meet the dog you are interested in adopting or fill out our adoption application.

2.
Submit Application

After you've met the dog then you fill out our adoption application. If your application is approved we'll let you know.

3.
Approve Application

If your application is approved then we set up the home check adoption.

4.
Home Check

Then there is a home check that is when we bring the dog to the new home and if everything looks safe we leave the dog.

5.
Pay Fee

At the home check that is when you pay the adoption fee.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting an Adopt Me Rescue dog, please visit our website and fill out our adoption application www.adoptmerescue.org. We review each application and pick the most suitable situation for each dog. WE DO REQUIRE A HOME-CHECK and you must be at least 21 years of age to adopt a dog from our organization.

There is an adoption fee please e-mail us in regards to the dog your interested in and we will let you know the adoption fee.
