Meet Ivy!
Rescued: 10/22/2022
Age at the time of rescue: 4 months
Current weight: 54 pounds
Currently receiving training.
Ivy is an athletic, happy, goofy and laid back girl who loves her people.
She is nervous when meeting new people, but with encouragement from a trusted handler, she makes friends FAST!
She will seek out attention from her people, wants to please, and checks in with her person frequently for approval. She loves to play and especially time with other dogs. This athletic girl would love a yard where she can get out some of her her zoomies.
She rests in her crate beautifully, and happily chews a bone or naps while crated.
She would love some walks, cuddle time, and canine friends to play with.
Her pictures don't do her justice, she's more beautiful in person.
This sweet girl was living on the streets and after her evaluation, her body told a story of struggle and survival. Evaluation and X-rays showed that both her rear legs had been fractured and healed with calcification on all fractures. She was most likely hit by a car as a puppy and survived! She is a beautiful and loving girl who is a shelter favorite. Smart and playful best describe her.
