My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This stunning purebred German Shepherd is a sweet and affectionate girl. House-trained and a joyful traveler, Ms. Maya makes an excellent companion. She's full of enthusiasm, always ready to run and play with you or her canine friends. Born on April 28, 2023, Maya boasts about 65 pounds of athletic build. She's a cheerful and vivacious princess who adores water and enjoys long walks. Maya has completed puppy training classes and is familiar with basic commands. Unfortunately, Ms. Maya's previous owner could no longer care for her, so now you have the chance to welcome this remarkable princess into your home.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
