Meet our newest member of the Keller's Kats CH clan, Pisa, a 3-month old girl who has already seen her fair share in life. She came to a local shelter with no movement in her legs, but after weeks of physical therapy and with accommodations, she has learned to walk, use the litter box, and flourish in a home. She loves wand toys, her cozy bed, and snuggling with kitties and humans. She has a contagious purr that lets you know her condition doesn't get her down and her tenacity is inspiring, please consider giving her a loving home for the holidays! She has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, she is in no pain, but it makes her unsteady on her feet. Her perfect home will understand that she has so much love to give but will need to be carefully supervised around other pets and children. She will also benefit from a carpeted home or one willing to provide her with lots of carpeted areas, which are essential in helping her with her balance. She will NEVER be able to do stairs safely, so you must understand that she will need barriers in place if your home has stairs and you will need to be able to ensure she is safely contained when you are not home. Her foster and our adoptions team can walk you through all the ways we can make her successful in your home! Dob 9/18/23 Keller's Kats Rescue Inc. is a registered 501c3 non-profit, volunteer run, no-kill rescue group that provides foster homes for homeless, abused or abandoned animals facing euthanasia.
