Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This gorgeous red boy is Coffee, a Siberian husky from Taiwan. Coffee is 45lbs, 2 years old, very affectionate, playful and good with the dogs he's met so far (cats unknown at this point). He is underweight and his coat is scruffy due to poor nutrition, but with good food he will be a fine example of what makes huskies so appealing.
This breed is a status symbol in Taiwan, but often don't do well as they are commonly kept caged/chained in an apartment in a humid tropical city. NOT a good scenario for a high energy Northern breed! As with all Siberians we ask you research the breed before considering! They are cute, funny, loyal and very intelligent.. but also often stubborn, escape artists, can have high prey drives and need plenty of exercise or they get bored and naughty. They can also be VERY vocal with roos and howls. Sibe fans adore this, but neighbors may not! They need a strong leader and are not a dog for a first time owner. He does not seem to have the "escape artist" sibe gene and is happy to stay close his owner and has a great natural recal.
If you do think about adopting Coffee, be prepared to be stopped on the streets regularly to have your dog fawned over ... He is definitely a looker :)
Coffee is microchipped, neutered and up to date on shots... and did I mention GORGEOUS??
