Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kody!
Even though this sweet pup has been with a loving foster family for several months now, he still manages to surprise us every now and then with a new character trait that is quite adorable!
A recent adventure has really left us smiling. When a plumber inadvertently left the gate unlatched, Kody decided to go exploring on his own for several hours. When he returned to his much relieved foster dad, Kody proudly and delightfully introduced dad to the stray pup he had found in the woods. Obviously a very responsible and empathetic dog, Kody didn't want the poor lost pup to spend a miserable night out in the rain. So he invited him home. Kody the gracious host! Check out the pics of Kody sharing his home and human with a scared pup. Heart-warming!
Handsome Kody is an athletic and muscular little guy who can hold his own with the big dogs, but is still compact enough to snuggle on you lap or cradle in your arms.
Kody is estimated to be an 18-24 month old Boxer/Staffie. A confident and curious pup, he has proven to be both affectionate and eager to learn.
The perfect gentleman in his crate, Kody understands "down time" and relaxes with the best of them. But when it's time to play, this happy boy is ready for any adventure. He’s a pro on car rides both long and short, and doesn't pester the driver for attention. He'll just sit there quietly, contemplating the great adventures that await him!
Kody has several dog siblings in his foster home, large and small, and get along extremely well with them. He can be a bit nervous and selective when first meeting new doggo friends, so a slow pack walk on neutral territory is the best way to introduce this sweet boy to potential "canine forever friends."
