Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Bella, a senior dog with a zest for life that rivals that of a puppy. Bella is thriving in her foster home where she quickly made herself at home and is much loved. According to her foster parent, Bella's spirit is infectious - she is sweet natured, loving and affectionate. She is well-behaved and eager to please. She greets everyone as if they are a lifelong friend and greatly enjoys her walks because she can meet people and get pets. She leaps for joy when she is taken for walks and likes to play tug of war with her leash. She is totally house trained - has had no accidents in her foster home. Bella is quick to develop a bond with her humans and makes a wonderful companion! This girl is incredibly deserving of a home of her own where she can continue to spread her joy in peace and comfort. Her foster will be glad to tell you more about this wonderful girl. If you're ready to bring a joy and companionship into your life, call us at 619 299 7012 or email us at the address above to learn more about Bella today!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
