This cutie is Major! He is an approximately 5 month old (as of 12/20) German Shepherd/Poodle mix that is looking for a new home! He came to Helping Paws when one of our veterinary partners reached out looking for help. He had been attacked by another dog and the owners were unable or unwilling to pay for care. He had been left mostly outside and was covered in fleas :( We had him stitched up and after a few weeks, he was medically cleared for adoption!

Major loves everyone he meets - including other dogs! Which given his history, just shows what a sweetie he is :) He is curious about cats, but never aggressive. His foster home is working on housetraining and crate training and all of the basic manners things, but obviously being a puppy, any potential adopter will need to understand that they need to continue with his training. He loves to play with toys and play chase with other dogs!

Major's adoption fee is $400 and he will come fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He also has been on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Interested in adding him to your family?
