Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rex is about 1o years old and we think a Husky/Border Collie mix (his eyes are half blue). One of our volunteers came across Rex delivering for Meals on Wheels. He was tied up outside where he has spent his entire life. The owner said they didn't want him and gave him to Marden's Ark Dog Tales. We took Rex to the vet to get up to date on vaccines. He tested positive for Heartworms. Not surprising since he lived his life outside without heartworm preventative. He has completed the heartworm treatment and will need to be retested in June 2024 to confirm he is heartworm free.
Rex is an older laid back guy. He gets along with other dogs and people. If you are his person, he stays close to you. Rex is house trained and will hit a hanging bell from the door knob when he needs to go outside. He's very smart !
Rex is up to date on vaccines, and flea preventative. He is microchipped and neutered.
