Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
I'm very smart and like learning new tricks. I am a bit of a Velcro dog- don't be surprised if I peek my head in the shower just to make sure you're still there. I want to play, but I'm more of a fan of "chase me than fetch, but I'm getting better at bringing the ball back and dropping it. When I'm super excited, I like to try and talk- I guess that's the husky in me! I would love to be a lap dog but I'm a big girl.
I am house trained - I have had zero accidents in my home. I chew my toys, but not the shoes. I take treats very gently. I love going on walks but get excited by small critters and other dogs/people. I do walk best in a harness.
I'm told I have a prey drive toward smaller animals - cats, dogs, squirrels, bunnies. I am dog selective and need slow intros to other dogs. I would be ok with another dog in the home as long as they are my size or bigger and we've had proper introductions with plenty of supervised playtime. I need a fenced in backyard and have been known to jump over a smaller fence. 5 feet is good.
I do great in my kennel. I go in easily with a little treat as a reward. I rarely bark, mostly at those darn squirrels that chatter at me from the tree.
As you can see, I'm gorgeous and I know it. I hate to brag, but my foster says I'm a very sweet, loving, smart, goofy, playful dog. I need a family that understands that I may never be a dog that can go to the dog park or socially hang out with other dogs due to my dog sensitivity. But I do promise to love you unconditionally and be the sweetest dog ever to my family.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
