Sammy update!

Sammy is a one year old pit/Shepard mix that was found as a malnourished stray in December.

At first Sammy was not so sure of our pack. He didn't mingle with them and we weren't sure he would ever like other dogs but with time and patience he now loves our senior ladies and loves playing with our 8 month old puppies.

Sammy is energetic and loves running in the yard, a family with a fence would be best for him.

Sammy is learning that chilling on the coach is one of his favorite things. Sammy loves car rides and he is potty trained.

Sammy just loves his people and is eager to spend time with you. He used to be anxious that you would leave him and he would bark and nip for attention but this smart fella has learned that he is loved by his pack and his humans.

Additional adoption info

Interested adopter must fill out an application. Once approved a meet and greet is set up at a specific location, the ranch or a local adoption event. If the animal and adopter are compatible, a home visit takes place.
A contract is also signed between the rescue and the adopter
Fees are generally between $250.00-$500.00

The Four Legged Ranch began in 2015. We are a experienced group of rescuers that have come together as a team to change lives of dogs at risk at high kill shelters. We focus on pit bulls and bully breeds, but we are open to help all breeds. Together we are changing their world and adding a new family member to yours.
