My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CLIFFORD is a handsome dude who has been through a lot in his short life. CLIFFORD was found under a trailer in a small Texas town and poor guy was petrified of people. CLIFFORD has been around with his foster mom for a while and he has really blossomed. He is ready for his forever home!

CLIFFORD is less timid of people now - he will come up to a human when he is ready for affection and he sure knows the humans are the food providers. CLIFFORD simply requests regular ear rubs and head scratches. He also loves to be outdoors!

CLIFFORD is dog-friendly, cat curious and kid-friendly.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
