My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Belle is just an absolute doll!! She's very easygoing, obedient, smart and knows where her home is. She's a great walker and would love to go on jogs with her family. Belle enjoys laying in the sun, chasing balls, and snoozing away while her family is away. She is vision impaired but is a trooper taking her eye drops that come with treats.

Belle is 11 years young, 27 lbs, and she is searching for a partner who enjoys a good snuggle, has a cozy lap, and loves morning walks.

She is so soft and loving and is happy just sitting next to her foster family if they're watching TV. At night, she goes to her own bed in the bedroom. Everyone on her daily walks that meet her just loves her and says how sweet she is.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

To adopt a dog from Tails of Gray, you must:

1. Complete an online application for adoption.
2. Meet your prospective pet. If your application to adopt is approved, our adoption coordinators will schedule a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.
3. Complete a home visit. If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.
4. Finalize the adoption. After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

The adoption fee is $200

More about this rescue

Tails of Gray is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization that offers a safe and loving sanctuary for senior dogs regardless of breed, health or ease of placement. Our goal is to prevent needless euthanasia through the offering of shelter, adoption, foster, hospice and education.
All Tails of Gray senior dogs are spayed and neutered, microchipped and receive appropriate veterinary care and treatment.
Tails of Gray welcomes the unwanted and heals the sick. Those precious senior dogs who cannot be healed will spend their final days in a comfortable environment where they experience unconditional love, some for the first time.
