My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jingles! This little lady is a 9yr old Shih Tzu weighing in at 9lbs. She still a little underweight and needs to gain a bit more. Unfortunately, she had lost her senior owner. We can definitely tell that she was quite bonded with this person. Her whole world was turned upside down abruptly. We truly feel these are some of the saddest case dogs. They are quite confused/emotional/upset because the life they had become accustomed to is ripped away instantly when their owner passes. Upon entering our rescue she seemed to be having some skin issues. We are fairly certain she just had a flea allergy and that’s all been handled now. Moving forward in her new life we are looking for a home for Ms. Jingles that includes-
🎁 Someone who is more home based. Jingles prefers not to be carted all around. She wants to hang with you on the couch/bed, etc. She’s not an overly active dog just seeks companionship.
🎁 Jingles is somewhat needy of her caregiver. She enjoys very much being in their presence, and gets a little anxious when they’re not around. She does not have any bad separation anxiety. We just think she still feeling abandoned and looking for people to give her the comfort she needs.
🎁 Jingles gets along very well with other animals, but can be indifferent. She’s not impressed by them & will not invade their space. Due to her tiny nature, we do not want her placed with any rowdy, young dogs. We feel she can peacefully live with any other animal as long as they don’t frighten her.
Jingles is a fairly easy dog to care for. She is a companion animal, a friend for someone who may be lonely. It takes her a minute to warm up but once she knows you, she is quite affectionate. She is a great dog!
