My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Imagine coming home to Berry’s full-body wiggle dance as she greets you like you’re her best friend in the world! At around 7 years old, Berry has mastered the art of love and loyalty, blending her playful spirit with a wisdom that only comes from years of experience. She’s smart and obedient, always eager to learn, and thrives in training sessions where she gets to show off her quick mind.

Berry’s days are filled with joy and adventure. She loves zooming around and solving puzzle toys that keep her mind sharp and engaged. And she’s always ready for a long, leisurely walk, savoring every scent and sight along the way. Berry even adores car rides; with her head happily sticking out the window, she embodies the pure joy of freedom, the wind in her fur, and her ears flapping in the breeze.

Berry’s joy is contagious—she doesn’t just greet you; she celebrates you! If you’re ready for a best friend who will fill your days with laughter, loyalty, and love, Berry is waiting to meet you at the Animal Farm Foundation. Give her the home she dreams of, and she’ll make you the center of her world. 🐶❤️

More about this rescue

Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.

OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.

We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
