(We have a trip scheduled for 12/22/23 to Sacramento Ca. We adopt out of state, and can come to you if you can't come to us as long as transportation is covered. With more than one adopter in route transport would be divided evenly amongst all adopting families making travel costs much more feasible for everyone! If you live further out in surrounding cities or states we don't mind meeting further out!)
Meet Lacey! She is a poodle/bichon mix female. She weighs right under 12 lbs, and yes she is full grown, and at a very healthy weight. She is a little over 2.5 years of age. She turns 3 on March 20th of next year in 2024.
She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, had a dental cleaning done, had both ears plucked and cleaned, and had an overall great physical exam with our vet.
She is house trained, and pad trained. She goes in and out to use the restroom when supervised due to the wildlife we have here. She is also very accustomed to pads, and uses them when necessary.
She is leash trained, and loves her walks. She is crate trained, but no longer uses the crate here with us as she has free roam of our home and is very well behaved. She is a bed dog, and LOVES being in bed with her humans. She loves affection, even if you try to hide in your blankets she will find you and kiss you as much as possible. She is very sweet, and doting. She is amazing with other dogs, big or small and great with cats as well as she lived with a few cats in her prior home. She is phenomenal at our groomers, and loves road trips which makes traveling very fun!
She is very outgoing, sweet natured, loving, adventurous, and ready to take on the world with her owner by her side. She has an amazing personality and is sure to become an awesome companion to one's life ☺️
Her prior owners unfortunately had to move out of state due to deployment and couldn't take her with them to their new housing so they reached out to us to take her in.
When Lacey came to us, unbeknownst to us, she was pregnant. She had a beautiful litter of babies within 3 weeks of being here, whom she has helped raise beautifully. (They will be ready to find homes in January of 2024 so watch out for their posts sometime then.) They are almost 9 weeks of age, and no longer need momma to nurse off of, so our vet cleared her to be spayed, and finally find a home all her own where she can finally be the princess she deserves to be!
