(We have a trip scheduled for 12/22/23 to Sacramento Ca. We adopt out of state, and can come to you if you can't come to us as long as transportation is covered. With more than one adopter in route transport would be divided evenly amongst all adopting families making travel costs much more feasible for everyone! If you live further out in surrounding cities or states we don't mind meeting further out!)
Meet Poppy! She is a 1 year old Goldendoodle. She weighs right above 51 lbs, and yes she is full grown, and at a very healthy weight. She has the hypoallergenic poodle coat which means she doesn't shed. She is spayed, current on vaccines, micorchipped, had a dental cleaning done, had both ears plucked and cleaned, and had an overall wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own.
She is house trained and goes in and out to use the restroom when she needs to. She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night. During the day she has free roam of our entire home, as she is very well behaved in the home. She is currently working on leash confidence as she didn't leave her prior home much at all, so leash training began once she came here to us. She is doing very well overall, but will definitely need a patient new human to lead the way as she navigates the big world.
She is a complete lover! She is so sweet, and docile and will melt at your touch. She loves belly rubs, and will go belly up for you to make giving them that much easier. She is phenomenal with other dogs, big or small. She is also amazing with cats, as her best friend was a cat in her last home. She is not a barker, and has a rather serene, and quiet temperament.
She is a water lover for sure!! She really enjoys laying in our pool by the steps as often as she can. She loves the groomer, and welcomes her spa days. She rides very well in the car too, making road trips very easy. She truly is a wonderful girl, looking for a family all her own!!
Her prior family was going through a very tough time in their personal lives; and Poppy was very stressed in their home. They didn't want her to be anything, other than happy girl she deserved to be so they reached out to us to take her in and find her a good home.
