Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sitter needed: 1/16/25 - 1/19/25
Chancy is a sweet boy looking for a sweet and loving home!
Chancy is an adult pittie with a huge personality. He loves to love and be loved. The absolute best is seeing him develop bonds with people and other dogs, because his happy/playful face will be burned into my brain for the rest of my life. It's pure joy.
He is house-trained and gets along with other dogs and kids, but he does need an introductory period in order to figure out boundaries and things. This sometimes takes as little as a couple hours, but is often a couple days. He is house-trained and has this ""woo woo woo"" howling bark he uses when he needs to go outside. His previous owner did keep him in a crate but neglected him in one, as well, so he currently has trouble staying in them and we're working on that. He has decent leash-walking skills when using a Gentle Leader or other face harness and LOVES walks.
Chancy needs someone who can be patient with some of his behavioral issues, and these mostly revolve around fleeing and being reactive to other dogs. He's strong and can be a strong puller. He's also extremely athletic. A secure 6ft or higher fence is a must. Ideally, he needs to be with someone who can stay with him for a good portion of the day, but can adapt to a working schedule well and has in the past.
HIs smile and sweet face is unlike any other, and he's a wonderful companion. You'll be rewarded with a bond that few other dogs could provide. Inquire today!
