Scout was relinquished to MSC by animal control after it was reported that she was being kept in a kennel on a porch at her previous home.
When she arrived at the shelter, she was very feisty and refused to eat. She needed an appetite and a change of attitude to have a chance, so a foster home it was. Immediately upon arriving, Scout rubbed up against her new mom and ate like a champ. This girl knew exactly what she was doing!
Because of previously being kept in a small cage, Scout lost muscle mass and came to us looking pretty rough. She has since gained weight, has a beautiful shiny coat, and a sparkle in her eye! Her "glow up" was so special to see.
Scout isn't the most trusting with new people. She sometimes likes to be an actress and put on a show/play hard to get. She was sweet to her foster mom immediately but can be hissy meeting new people. She is looking for someone with "good vibes!"
This beautiful girl is sweet and silly. She makes her foster mom laugh every day. She welcomes you with a soft meow when you enter the room, comes right up to you for pets and cuddles, and shows her big, beautiful belly for you to admire! Scout loves to be brushed and will come sit on your lap and make biscuits.
Scout also enjoys playing with her feather wand but spends the majority of her day sleeping on her heating pad. She also loves looking out the window and chatting with her mom, too.
Sis doesn't care for the company of other animals, but she is pretty laid back about her dislike for them. She would probably do fine with other pets as long as they respected Her Highness's privacy.
Scout would love a quiet home where she can be worshiped for the rest of her days. She's a chill and loving girl who'd make an amazing companion for someone looking for a best friend. She has had a really rough past and deserves only the best.
Scout is on a prescription diet as she has a sensitive stomach. She LOVES her new food and it helps her not have any accidents.
