"Hueneme Beach," fondly called "Mia" by her foster family, is a young, brown tabby cat found on the Port Hueneme promenade with her two 12-week-old kittens. "Mia" loves to play, especially with her toy mice, or by exploring her surroundings. At first "Mia" preferred to find a quiet hiding place to take her cat naps, probably the result of her abandonment, but as she has grown familiar with her foster home she can be found stretched out along the back of a comfy chair where she is never too far from a loving pat from her human friends.
"Mia" is very affectionate with humans and likes to be carried around, and she makes the most adorable chirping sounds instead of normal meows most of the time. She is harness trained and likes to go out in the garden with her foster mom, under very close supervision of course, for her own safety!
If you would like to meet Mia or any of our adoptable kitties, submit an adoption application today! If you have any questions, please email CatsCradleRescueCA@gmail.com.
Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption. Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.
Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
