Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🚨Josie needs your help!
Josie has been in our rescue for a year now, waiting on her forever family. We’re not sure why she keeps getting looked over - perhaps it’s her unique look with a scruffy face and dark eyes or the fact she should be the only dog in the home, which we know can be a deciding factor however, we have to be honest with ourselves and know what is best for Josie long term and that is to be the solo dog.
Josie’s been through several of our foster homes over the year, no fault at all, just due to scheduling and commitments our fosters have. We didn’t expect to have Josie this long in our care but we are committed to her! Thats where it leaves us as she is in need of a new foster home as her current one has other commitments away from the home for a few weeks. We ideally would love to find her forever home and are also able to do a foster to adopt situation where you would commit to fostering and if she fits in your home/family, you can choose to adopt!
Some quick info on Josie:
⁃ 2 years old, medium (40lb) terrier mix
⁃ Loves: time in the backyard, car rides, squeaky toys, cuddling
⁃ Obedience: housebroken, crate trained, food grazer
⁃ Quirks: doesn’t like other dogs (will need a slow introduction if around other dogs) and can get jumpy around young kids so best with older kids
Please help us & Josie and apply to become her foster or adoptive home here:
