Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Available for Adoption or Foster
A tiny four-week-old kitten who should have been nursing on his mom and romping with his siblings in a home filled with love, was discovered alone and cold in a dark shed in a backyard with his front leg severely injured. He was brought to AALOC by the finder who held the one-pound kitten with a leg dangling and the familiar plea, “will you please help us?” How could ANYONE say no?
Archie was taken immediately to our veterinarian who determined that there was no way to save Archie’s front leg and his leg was amputated by an orthopedic surgeon. Archie’s little spirit is amazing and he has been quite the trooper in his recovery foster home. He enjoys playing with toys and running through rooms – three legs have not slowed Archie down one bit!
Archie is available to adopt or as an AALOC foster. As a foster AALOC will pay for all of Archie's expenses. We will count on you though to provide Archie with all the care and love he needs.
Please apply to adopt Archie at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Archie and get to know him a bit.
Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on adoption policies visit our cat adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.
