My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby is a great dog, very active , loves to play fetch with tennis ball. He has grown up around older adult males and has little contact with kids. He has a gentle nature , loves to be on your lap or couch with you. He is a great guard dog. He barks and snarls at anyone at the front door, until it is opened, then he runs out and is wanting to get petted by the person he was just barking at. He seems to bark at the unknown and is fearless, even barking at fireworks instead of being scared. I have only had him about 6 months, his owner passed away, a friend of a friend, and it was either me or the shelter.
I am retired and disabled and can not take care of Toby as needed. He has need of care that I can not afford to take on, as even hair cuts and shots are beyond my affordability. I would love to see Toby in a loving home as he really is a great dog and will be a great dog and friend for the right person.
