Hi. My name is Athena. This Christmas, I’ll be almost 6 months old. I look like I’m a Maine Coon kitty. I’m just gorgeous with my long black, white and grey striped fur. I was found at a city park, all by myself sitting by a fruit tree. I’m betting that I was dumped there. I hadn’t been there long though since I was still pretty clean and super friendly. But I was hungry for sure!
I’m a super friendly kitty. I’m affectionate and talkative. I like following you around just in case you have a treat or a toy for me. I’ll let you know when I’m hungry or want a snack by meowing at you and tapping your leg with my paw. I’ve got a big personality, must be the Main Coon in me. I’ll sit for hours watching the birds outside and one of my favorite things is to try and fit into baskets or plastic containers. You know – “If I fits, I sits.” I live in a foster home with other kittens and cats, so I’d love a forever home with at least one other friendly kitty.
I’m all ready to go to my forever home. I’ve been spayed, had my FVRCP vaccines, dewormed, been given flea & tick treatment and ear mite treatment (just in case) AND I’ve been chipped. Whew! So, I’m all set to go. Because I’m young and like other cats so much I’d like to be adopted into a home with other friendly cats. I’m sure we’ll get along and be friends. If you don’t have another cat already, I have several foster mates looking for a new home too. I could love one person or a whole family of people - I'm not picky. Just be aware that I might be a tiny bit shy at first until I know you. I don’t think it will take me long though because I love people. I get along with dogs too and I like kids. So, if you’d like to have a sweet, gorgeous, and loving addition to your family, I’m your girl. I’ll be waiting to hear from you!
