Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I’m Ripley, I am a 2 year old gal who is 44lbs and the perfect mix of playful, cuddle buddy, and best friend! I was surrendered by my last family because they did not have enough time for me due to busy work and human kid schedules. I was sad to move, but I am also loving all this attention! My first foster home, I had some bulldog siblings which was fun and I got along well with them. In my current foster home, I am an only dog and I am loving life having all the attention from my very best friends. I just want to be loved and played with all day long!
I am very smart and enjoy learning new things. I’m doing really well with my house training, and am also to sit, stay, and how to walk on a leash like a lady. As soon as I see my harness, I get SO EXCITED! I love walks and jump a lot to let you know how excited I am. I have to be careful though because I ended up hurting myself from all my excitement. I am currently being treated for a partial CCL tear in my leg and I will need to have that repaired at some point. I am working on controlling my excitement for all people since I tend to jump more than I should and need to be so close all the time. I am learning that being alone with my bones and toys sometimes is okay, it’s hard and I cry and howl a little at first but it’s getting easier each time.
Ideally my new family would be home most of the time, like working from home or retired, to shower me with pets, kisses, long walks, and playtime. Isn’t that what all dogs want, really?
Welp, it’s cuddle time for me so I am going to take a nap with my foster human, but I hope I’ll see you again soon! Maybe we can go for a walk!!! :)
