My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco! She is a spunky 10 month old well on her way to being your best friend! Coco loves to play with stuffed animal toys and cuddle up with her people friends. She is shy at first when meeting new furry friends, but given some time to warm up she is playful and friendly with other dogs. Coco spent some time in a foster home with younger and older children. She gets excited to see them and is very playful. Coco is a smart pup too! She is house, kennel, and leash trained, along with knowing the commands “sit” and “come”.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
