Violet found herself in a predicament in the spring - a mom with six kittens turned into the shelter. This pretty girl did a great job raising her babies despite being very thin and dealing with FIV herself. Now that her kittens are older, she can shine all on her own. Violet is a sweet girl who loves to be petted and really loves people. She, however, is not all that happy with the other foster cats in the house. She gets along with some of them, but not others. She would really like a nice quiet place to be loved on where she isn't overshadowed by kittens and she can be the star of the show. She's a little grumbly sometimes, as we can all be when we're annoyed and overstimulated. We're hoping a great quiet family gives this pretty girl a chance at the good life. She deserves it!
As we mentioned, Violet has FIV, which means her immune system is compromised. She has done very well in her foster home despite being here with a number of other cats and germs. She has never hinted at biting any of the other cats, which is how FIV would be spread if it were to be transmitted. She would just need to be kept current on vet visits, vaccines, flea treatment, etc., like any kitty would need, and she needs to be indoor only.
