My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dobby is the adventure cat of your dreams. Bold and confident, Dobby takes very little time to warm up to new friends and will do anything for some time with a wand toy. Make no mistake, she does not discriminate between toys and will just as proudly walk around with her recent catch of a toy mouse or ball. Small and sleek with the energy befitting a nearly 1 year old cat, Dobby will greet you at the door every day and hang out however long it takes before you play with her, and with such an adorable face it won't take long. Once she's tuckered out, she'll crawl onto your lap or take a nap in her favorite spot in the crevices between your legs.

Her exuberance for play does sometimes extend beyond the bounds of her body so we do recommend that if she has a cat sibling, they are patient and ready to play many times throughout the day. She doesn't currently live with a dog but I assume same goes for them. After play time she'll give them a good bath and reconnect just to let them know she meant nothing by it. Additionally, she knows what she wants and won't be afraid to tell you; that's enough petting right now friend so any human kiddos need to be able to read her signs and respect them.

Dobby is so sweet and so ready to fall in love with you! Apply to adopt her at www.tenthlifecats.org/adopt.

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.
