Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Frisco is a sweet and energetic goofball! He is full of kisses and wants nothing more than to roll around and play! His most favorite thing in the world are ball toys! He is a super chewer, and can't enough of chasing a ball around the yard. He is about a year and half old and we believe he was once potty trained in his former home. Frisco does not like cats, but we are told he does ok with other dogs, but that has not been our experience. He does seem to like female dogs more so than male dogs, but we feel he needs to be the only animal in the home for everyone’s safety. While Frisco wouldn’t necessarily start a dog fight, he absolutely would finish it if another dog challenged him. Given his big head, muscles, and propensity to throw his weight around all willy nilly, we suggest that if you have children in your life that they be older kids (12+) that don't mind getting knocked down every now and again as he plays. A little consistency and daily play time will go a long way with this sweet boy. He LOVES car rides! He would make a great travel companion. If intereseted in meeting Frisco please fill out our adoption application that can be found on our website at effinghamcountyhumanesociety.org His adoption fee is fully sponsored and this includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, monthly flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention.
