My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Raine! Or as I call her- Rainey. She’s somewhere between 1-3 years old. She’s just the sweetest girl, very affectionate towards her person. She’s fully potty trained and house trained.

She has really thrived in foster care and came out of her shell beautifully. She gets along well with other dogs but can be a little territorial for the first few days as she gains trust. When she warms up to other dogs in the house, she’ll be great friends with them.

Raine really wants to be a lap dog. She loves to lay in my lap and begs for love and rubs. She is a happy girl who just wants to be loved. She also loves to throw the ball around (mostly by herself) in the yard. She is very much a Velcro dog and will become your shadow.

As Rainey came from a hoarding case, she will take her time to warm up to you and other dogs in the house, and she will attempt to flee. She will require someone to work on her trust and be patient with her. Small children in the home are not recommended for her, as she is skittish and it would likely regress her progress. Raine will need time to adjust in her new home. She has not been cat tested. Meet and greet preferred but not required!

There is an additional $20 adoption fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
