My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Snowdrop, a young a gentle bunny girl. I love getting a soft cuddle and pet from humans that I trust! I can be shy at first because of my past, but I love spending time with people once I know they'll never hurt me. I spent most of my young life in an animal testing laboratory being subjected to painful experiments. Now that Beagle Freedom Project has rescued me, I'm loving living my new life! I have an amazing foster family that have restored my faith in the kindness of humans; they give me lots of snacks, pets, and safe outdoor exploration opportunities! I really like other rabbits and would love to find a forever home where I could make a bunny friend or two. My perfect forever home will be one with lots of love, playtime, and veggies! Because I am a New Zealand White rabbit, I often get overlooked due to my red-tinted eyes... but, I'm hoping that someone will notice me soon! I am the sweetest bunny girl and will make an amazing companion for my adopter!

I would prefer a home that has: lots of love!

My location: MILWAUKIE, OR

*Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!*

Additional adoption info

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
