My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Faith! This sweet girl had a difficult start in life, but was taken into our rescue and is hoping for a loving home where she can be spoiled like she deserves. Faith is very gentle and affectionate, sure to win you over! Whether you're looking for a side kick to tag along on an adventure, or a buddy to snuggle up with on the sofa, Faith wants to be your loyal girl. She is working hard on her leash manners, crate training, and is 90% potty trained! If you want to add this pup to your family find us at https://www.tailsoftheforgottenpaws.org/ or on FB and fill out an application.

We think Faith would definitely benefit from having a four legged pal to help build her confidence and show her the ropes (maybe her sister Frannie??). Faith needs a patient loving family who will show her the very best of life! This girl deserves more than growing up in foster care

Faith has been working so hard on the basics in her foster home in the Algonquin area! She can’t wait to meet you with an approved application!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

We do thorough legal background checks and call all references, landlords etc. Do not leave anything blank or we cannot process your app.

2.

Interview

We discuss the adoption and at this time answer any questions applicants may have

3.

Approve Application

If all checked out we then send approvals via email and adopters then can reserve with a deposit or set up a meet in greet if applicable.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

We have a legally binding contract that must be signed before you can take your fur kid home.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is fairly simple as long as apps are filled out correctly and fully and all checks out. We do screen with a background check program and call vet references and personal references. If any of this is left blank we cannot and will not process applications. Meet and greets are set up after an applicant is approved. At that time if they wish to adopt then we have a legally binding contract that must be signed prior to taking pet home.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Meets are available with an approved application, then this is set up. We have adoption events twice a month in Illinois, Elgin area, and this is always advertised in advance on our fb page. We do not do open adoptions so if attending our events with intentions to adopt please have your application put in prior to each event. People are welcome always to come hold and meet some of the dogs and puppies :)
