My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lacy is a beautiful 4-year old female Plott Hound who was brought to the HSOV on December 6, 2023 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden who picked her up on Highland Ridge Road near Marietta Ohio. Lacy was later surrendered by her family.

Lacy has a brown/brindle short smooth coat, a long tail, and a lovely face with soft brown eyes, a dark chocolate note, and large floppy ears.

Thanks to HSOV Lead HSOV Canine Kennel Tech Jared Nash for treating Lacy some extra TLC while she had her glamour photos taken on December 8th. Lacy enjoyed a short break from being in her kennel, and Jared joined Lacy for a brief walk as they teamed up to jog back inside the shelter.

We've learned that Lacy is dog selective and does not do well with small dogs/animals. She has been kept indoors and is housetrained.

Lacy weighs 54 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash, and she has already been spayed.
