Hi, my name is Jazz! I’m a 4-year-old, 35 pound white and light tan lab mix. I love playing with friendly dogs and toys, chasing balls and removing squeakers from toys. My wish for a home would include a fenced in backyard, even though I walk really well on a leash and love to go for walks. I’m housebroken and crate trained, which I don’t really need to be in when left alone. I just like to have my crate to lay in. I also love my bed, but really love to sleep with my people – even when they say no – I sneak up when they fall asleep. When I get tired in the evening, I will drag my bed out of the bedroom to get comfortable. I do love to bark at anything I see outside but will settle down when told to stop. I’m a little shy meeting people outside, but once I realize they give pets, I will lean into them. I’m also curious about other dogs when I go for walks, but I take a little time to warm up to dogs in my home. I’ll be a little growly until I realize they are nice. Once I warm up, if they are nice to me, I will play and play and play with them. Outside, I want to play with them even if we’ve just met. Small children scare me, so a home without small children would be best. If you need a furry friend to keep you warm this winter, I’m your girl! I think I’m a lapdog.
