My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hilo is a 3 year old male Pekingese mix, weighing 28 lbs...neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Hilo is a very sweet boy who loves his foster family...especially their older son, so he would love to have an older child/children to bond with!

He would be fine as an only dog, or in a home with other dogs, as he does get along with other doggy friends.

Hilo's favorite things are his toys…he especially loves the squeakers !

He sleeps with his human foster brother or with his foster parents, and has to be right up next to them...makes him feel safe. He also likes to wake them up with a morning kiss!
He does not get crated and has the run of the house, so we hope to find a forever home for him, with the same privileges.

Hilo is house broken, and currently has access to a doggy door, at his foster home.

He walks great on a leash, he listens very well, and loves to go places with his foster family.

Hilo is not a big barker, and enjoys spending time on the couch with his babies (toys).

He would love a family that is active and loves to spend time with him, though he can entertain himself with his toys, but ultimately he LOVES attention from his family!

Hilo is extremely loving and quick with kisses!!
