What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Alfred is a 6 year old tuxedo cat. He is very timid. He was found in someone's backyard as a kitten and taken to the shelter where I adopted him. Unfortunately, as of late my allergies and other health issues have become very severe. As a result, Alfred's needs are being neglected. I am looking for a compassionate and experienced owner with no other pets in the home who can take good care of Alfred and give him the life he deserves. He is a very sweet and loving cat. He loves to cuddle on your lap and make biscuits. Lately, due to my health issues, I have not been able to play with him or cuddle him and this has led him to be neglected. I am noticing some behavioral changes in him due to his lack of play. These changes include some mild aggression towards me out of frustration and some vocalization. I know that these behaviors will subside as soon as he gets the play and affection he needs, but I unfortunately can no longer provide that.
