This helps Humane Society of Terrell County with pet care costs.
Romeo-Walker needs a permanent home! He was found and dropped off at the vet’s office with a broken leg and fractured pelvis. His leg may have to be amputated but, in spite of all he has been through, this little Romeo is only concerned about being loved on! He is so incredibly loving and sweet. In addition to the broken leg, fractured pelvis and wound on his tail, he came in extremely thin and malnourished, dirty and no indication of having been cared for in his short lifetime. However, the attention, love and tender care he received by the staff at the vet’s office worked wonders on his young heart and turned him into a little Romeo. His surname is in honor of one of his hero's that lavished him with love.
We have no history on this adorable, purring Romeo but we can tell you he is not afraid of the dogs he’s been around! He tried really hard to snuggle up and love on one of the dogs he has met while hanging at the vet clinic. The vet thinks he is probably anywhere from 8-10 months old. He is being neutered, given needed vaccinations and should be ready for his new home in a few days - pending the decision on whether the leg needs to be amputated. Romeo just needs a family to love him, especially while he heals.
Please share him so he can find a home for Christmas!!
