My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jake!
Jake is a handsome little guy, looking for a relaxed home for him to hang out. He is 4 years old and weighs around 22lbs. Jake love to chew on his rubber toys and hang out in the grass or on his comfy dog bed. He is SELECTIVE with other dogs and does not like to be in a crate.

Jake likes to go for walks and get scratches. He is recommended for a more relaxed, quiet home due to his tendency to get overwhelmed with lots of loud noises or large groups.
Estimated birthdate: 2020

He is on a anti-depressant med and will need to be left on the medication.

If you are interested in Jake please call 828-885-3647 to schedule an appointment.

More about this rescue

Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to saving the lives of adoptable dogs and cats who would otherwise die simply because their time is up at shelters in western NC. We accomplish this by placing them into loving, forever homes via a system of transport to reputable rescues and no-kill shelters throughout the United States, as well as local adoptions. Each one is cared for, loved and given everything it needs (food, exercise, socialization, basic training, vetting, vaccinations, heart worm testing and spay/neuter) to become the best possible companion animal it can be! We provide this through our foster families and our Safe Haven until such time they are chosen to go to other rescues, where adoption awaits them, or they are adopted by us into local homes.
