Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brea ❣ She is 5 yrs old, so the perfect age for that calmer yet active pup. She is on the smaller size, just over 40 lbs.
This is from her TX foster:
Brea will be your best friend. She truly just wants love and affection. She will greet you with excitement and requests for cuddles when you get home from work. She will melt into you for hours if you let her. She has a sweet and loving temperament.
Brea is a great guard dog and will absolutely save you from the bunnies and squirrels. She is very attentive and provides a safe and secure feeling especially for night walks.
Brea is great on a leash but will need a harness if at a park or on a run because she knows how to escape a collar to greet other dogs.
Brea is potty trained and knows how to sit and stay. She is able to stay in a crate with a blanket and toys while you are away but not long term. She loves her freedom and staying active. She may howl if you leave the house unless you throw some treats her way and tell her goodbye before walking out the door.
She is fair with small dogs but can be jealous when it comes to attention. She wants it all to herself. She may need some supervision and time to get to know one another-unsure about large dogs. She can be food aggressive if another dog is around while actively eating or if they try to steal her food but does not need to be on a feeding schedule. She can graze on food during the day. She loves her water and drinks a lot! Brea needs someone to open their home to her on Dec 16th. That could be to foster, to adopt or foster to adopt. Will you help Brea? We need to know immediately if someone will help this girl.
